Magpie Diaries is the authentic folk musings of singer-songwriter and Dashville founder Matt “Magpie” Johnston, and he’s releasing his long-awaited debut album Sanctuary today (Friday 16 November, aka International Day For Tolerance)!
Burgeoning Melbourne duo Dark Fair are on the verge of issuing their debut long-player Off Into My Head on excellent imprint Poison City Records, and while on their national album tour to celebrate (co-headlining with Moody Beaches, who are dropping by for a set in a couple of weeks) they’re coming into Sonic Sherpa for a free, all ages performance on Saturday 1 December from 1pm.
Perth-bred singer-songwriter Emily Barker followed her musical dreams to the UK well over a decade ago now, and has spent that time building a strong career with her beautiful soul-flecked, blues-tinged music.
