Mick Medew has been a towering figure on the Brisbane scene since way back in the ’80s when his killer rock band The Screaming Tribesmen announced themselves as one of the great Oz rock propositions, and he’s still here in our midst making amazing music and keeping that rock flag waving!
Mick recently released his excellent solo album Psychopharmacologist (on revered Sydney rock label I-94 Bar Records) and to celebrate he’s coming into Sonic Sherpa for a free set from 3pm on Saturday 23 January!
He’s being joined on the day by his partner-in-crime Ursula Collie – who played on the album and is herself a decades-long mainstay of our amazing scene – and it’s going to be a ripper, come and pay homage to one of Brisbane’s finest ever performers in the badlands of Stones Corner!
