Sunshine Coast troubadour Zac Gunthorpe is bringing his country folk stylings to Sonic Sherpa for a special all-ages performance on Saturday 2 September.
Zac will be debuting songs from his latest album, the dark and sultry ‘Meant For The Sky,’ now available on limited edition vinyl. This marks Zac’s third album, following 2018’s ‘Ghost of the Town’ and 2015’s ‘Glory Bound.’
‘Meant For The Sky’ was produced and recorded straight to tape by Jamie Trevaskis at Wild Mountain Studio in Mount Nebo, with Brisbane country garage rockers Mexico City serving as his backing band. Zac has crafted a collection of songs that draw listeners in and demand their attention, evoking the likes of Neil Young and his Laurel Canyon contemporaries.
Come experience it for yourself when Zac takes to the Sonic Sherpa stage with special guests at 3pm.
