Rising Brisbane indie rock outfit Full Flower Moon Band‘s second album Megaflower is on vinyl!

Full Flower Moon Band are the definition of rock ‘n’ roll. Frontwoman persona ‘Babyshakes Dillon’ walks in many shoes, from snakeskin boots to stilettos. This alter ego can act as a convenient buffer between the songwriter and their words, particularly when they’re bowing at the altar of excess.

Since the release of their 2021 EP Death or Hell (4ZZZ Album of the Week), they’ve been making steadfast headway. They bagged a national tour with rock godfathers The Black Crowes (USA) and support slots with the likes of Frankie and The Witch Fingers (USA), The Murlocs, Nothing But Thieves (UK), Bad Dreems and more, with the show described as “full frontal rock onslaught.” The August 2023 release of Diesel Forever was described by NME as scorching rock with a sting in the tail where singles have garnered the band hat-tips from all the right heads: ‘Trainspotting’ spent five weeks in the AMRAP Community Radio Top 10 and was featured in Netflix hit, Heartbreak High, while Dave Ruby Howe from triple j Unearthed described ‘NY-LA’ as a track with “a level of sneering, unattainable cool that is hard to fake.”

The album is a manifesto of a tight collective in pursuit of the stratosphere, and unafraid of burning up on the journey. There isn’t much this onslaught can’t handle and 2023 was their biggest year yet with major festival slots on Splendour In The Grass, Yours & Owls Festival, securing UK/EU booking agency, Free Trade (Soccer Mommy, The War on Drugs) and being awarded The Music Underground Hidden Gems competition and the Grant Mclennan Scholarship to head to New York.

Get ready for the turbulence that is Full Flower Moon Band as they release their 2024 album, Megaflower, tour nationally across Australia and dominate the world.
