Brisbane scene mainstay Seja Vogel has been making beautiful music on the local scene for many moons now – both in her solo guise as Seja and with bands such as Sekiden and Regurgitator – and on Fri 4 Aug she releases her stunning third album ‘Here’s One I Know You Know’ (through excellent Melbourne indie It Records)!
The self-produced collection is virtually a love letter to the synthesisers which have played such a big part of Seja’s life, and she’s gathered together a sterling group of friends to help bring her vision to life – including members of Ball Park Music, Warpaint, Velociraptor and All Our Exes Live In Texas, as well as US percussion lover (and Portlandia star) Fred Armisen – with the results described as “a world class synth pop feast for the senses”!
Seja is an absolute cornerstone of our amazing scene and ‘Here’s One I Know You Know’ is the crowning jewel of her amazing career (so far), come on down and immerse yourself in her beautiful local electro-pop dreamscapes!
