Much-loved Meanjin country-rock five-piece Mexico City recently released the vinyl pressing of their wonderful fourth album Closer To Home!
They are Sonic Sherpa instore veterans – they played the second ever live set in the shop back in 2016 – and the new record is the culmination of their fine career to date, with respected blog Americana UK gushing that “the whole album sound is steeped in analogue 70’s warmth and joy”!
They’ve played with international bands the calibre of The Black Keys, Cat Power, Jason Molina, Lou Barlow, Jay Farrar, Tony Joe White and M Ward – as well as local outfits like You Am I, The Drones, Tex Perkins, The Mess Hall and more – but now you van catch them for free in a tiny space in Stones Corner, fill your boots people!
