We’re super-excited to announce that Brisbane outfit The Valery Trails will be playing a free, all ages set in Sonic Sherpa to celebrate their excellent third album The Sky Is Blue which came out in late-’22!
Having been on the scene for over a decade (albeit with an extended OS absence by frontman Andrew Bower) the band has well-and-truly honed their aesthetic, which is described as “the sound of Brisbane in the 70s and 80s, the textural shoegaze side of UK indie in the 90s, the literate jangle and fuzz of some of the New Zealand Flying Nun bands, the rhythm and drive of Melbourne’s Underground Lovers and the nuanced guitar sounds of US college rock”!
It’s going to be a heap of fun and as ever it’s completely free and all ages, so get on down to Stones Corner to support our ever-amazing local scene!
