Atmospheric Queensland indie rockers The Valery Trails recently released their accomplished fifth album Winter Palace, continuing the eclectic approach to genre of its predecessor The Sky Is Blue (2022), with songs exploring synth-pop stylings, horn-driven retro flavours, and some straight-up rock and roll sprinkled among the band’s trademark powerpop crunch and jangle!
With Brisbane identities Tim Steward (Screamfeeder, We All Want To) and Skye Staniford (We All Want To) these days firmly entrenched in the ranks, the five-piece will be returning to Sonic Sherpa for a free, all ages showcase of these rad new tunes (with some old faves no doubt thrown in to boot)!
