Capturing city vs country, head vs heart, Big Smoke is a deeply personal, concept-driven album exploring the experience of feeling caught between head and heart, the comfort and chaos of city life, and the longing for the freedom and slowness of a different life outside the city.
It reflects themes of place, love, heartbreak, and identity, documenting her 20’s in what feels like a scrapbook of experiences, relationships and emotional challenges. Through both intimate acoustic tracks and expansive, psychedelic sounds, the album playfully and fiercely captures her emotional evolution — from loving and leaving people and places to discover if the grass is, in fact, greener on the other side.
