We’re stoked to be hosting an intimate acoustic set from new duo Mack & Cook, better known as Lizzie and Murray from rad Sydney soul outfit The Soul Movers (okay, some might argue that Murray is even better known as the OG red Wiggle, he is in the ARIA Hall Of Fame with them I guess)!
Adding country to their soul/rock/blues palette and playing new originals as well as Soul Movers bangers and classic covers, the pair’s natural chemistry – and Lizzie’s amazing voice – make Mack & Cook a sensational proposition in their own right, one we’ll be hearing a lot more from in the future.
Before their acoustic set they’ll be facing down a Q&A from Belly, who amongst other things will be drilling into how The Soul Movers originally featured Deniz and Pip from Radio Birdman, what it was like recording with the Swampers in Muscle Shoals and in Sun Studios at Memphis were Elvis weaved his early magic, and possibly digging up some tasty Wiggles dirt as well! Fun fun fun!
