Whilst in the region to rock the Mullum Roots Festival, esteemed WA honky tonk-slash-blues rock ensemble Kangaroos With Machine Guns will swing by the 4120 to tear the suburb a new one!
Last year they released their third album Tryin Terget Te Dubbo (on Gympie icon Darren Hanlon’s wonderful Flippin Yeah Records), the collection described by RTR FM as “an ode to rivers, creeks and the wonderful Australian country – always there to help us get to our destination”!
Featuring erstwhile members of fine bands such as Kill Devil Hills and Southern River Band, their oft-espoused mission is “to provide high powered weaponry and training to every Kangaroo in Australia”, so come catch Kangaroos With Machine Guns in the flesh before their dreams turn into sobering reality!
