Atmospheric Sydney rockers Infinity Broke have just released their impeccable fourth album The Masthead, and whilst in town on their national tour will be hitting Sonic Sherpa for a free, all ages instore from 3PM on Saturday 3 May!
Despite being the brainchild of Oz rock stalwart Jamie Hutchings (Bluebottle Kiss, solo, The Tall Grass) – one of the country’s finest songwriters – The Masthead explores a collaborative approach to songwriting with half the album’s tracks finding their origins in group improvisation.
They describe the new album as “hypnotic avant-rock with teeth!”, but Infinity Broke are an exemplary live outfit so don’t miss their inaugural foray to the badlands of the 4120!
Don’t miss the album launch proper that same evening from 7pm at Season Three in the Valley, with support from local noise mongers Deafcult! Tix through Humanitix!
NB. INFINITY BROKE WILL BE JOINED ON THE DAY BY A VERY SPECIAL BAND (NO RELATION), STAY TUNED!
