In 2023 Brisbane-based alt-country artist Hayley Marsten released her second album Girlhood to great acclaim, the collection of songs broadening her palette towards the rock and pop realms and being described by Women In Pop as “an album of immense beauty” (it was also nominated for both a Golden Guitar and a Queensland Music Award).
Hayley has spent the last 12 months touring hard – playing both her own shows and working the festival circuit – but now to celebrate both her birthday and the new vinyl pressing of Girlhood she’s coming in to Sonic Sherpa for an intimate party-slash-celebration!
We’re not sure yet whether there will be balloons and cake but there will definitely be some top-notch local music, come on down and help Hayley celebrate her milestone with a free, all ages instore!
